How about making potato masala for masala dosa? Here we go…
- Cook potatoes and mash them completely.
- Now heat a pan, pour oil and mustard seeds to splutter. Fry curry leaves, and cashews for a minute.
- Saute a few green chilies and chopped onions until it turns golden brown.
- Add turmeric to the mix and saute well.
- To this, you could then add the mashed potatoes along with ¼ cup of water.
- Sprinkle salt to taste. Once boiled, cook for 10 minutes.
- Put off the flame and add chopped cilantro.
Now let’s prepare the Home Style Masala Dosa
- Make your tava heat up and slick it with a teaspoon of oil or ghee.
- Pour the batter and spread accordingly as thin as possible. Now scatter some oil or ghee on it.
- No need to flip the other side. You just can spread the potato masala across the middle.
- Now, fold it into its half and serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
